Ive been cut in the face by flying debris out of nowhere where you cant see whats underneath tall grass. I always use eyepro. I love using it without the guard but you must use eyepro and be aware of unseen debris possibly cutting your face. Not for the weak of heart 😎

Well, I watched your video, I was quite annoyed about the fact that most of your "weeds" were all grasses. I watched your video because I study wild medicinal plants, wild edibles plants, friction fire, woodcraft, shelter making, pottery, blacksmithing... bushcraft and survival. I was kind of surprised you didn't mention the plantains (Plantago major and Plantago lanceolata). You seem to really know your grasses, almost all grass is edible, so I don't really study grass. I didn't really get any useful knowledge here. It really saddens me how much people seem to prefer to kill useful plants they don't understand... just so they can have a "uniform" chemical ridden grass they can gawk at. Not only are we killing useful medicines, but we are replacing it with chemicals which poisons it from future use. Before you say it is a placebo, modern medicines have only been around for hundreds of years... whereas traditional medicine has been around for thousands. Unfortunately snake oil salesman, and blood letting has given traditional medicine a bad name. The truth is pharmaceutical companies and doctors have tried very hard to corner the market of health care. Fortunately every day scientists are discovering plants actually do heal. Those of us who want to learn can not do so safely with all of your herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides. Enjoy your chemgrass.

Still haven't found my nemesis. It has that Y plus one like Carpetgrass, but with wavy leaves. It pops ups through the pre emergent and painting it with roundup doesn't work.

Goosegrass is the worst!! Even Specticle Flo won't totally keep it out! Sulfentrazone mixed with Revolver works pretty good as a post emergent!

We use 45% Vinegar with 1 cup of salt and 2 tablespons of dawn. Wet the weeds fully and bam all dead in 3 days.

Gonna try this on my cheap Ryobi 18v... I bet the string gets like 2 feet long, lol!!! Bad trimmer, but good price, was $35.

works fine if you're just cutting grass. too much string will just wrap around bigger weeds which is what i use my string trimmer for the most. has nothing to do with "not enough power". For me it performs better with the guard on, but for you no guard is best. Its completely subjective.

Have you or your guys ever killed a lawn by using the wrong herbicide or the wrong amount when mixing? What would you do for the customer in that situation? Do you have any horror stories you can tell? Thanks!

A fungus may not grow in straight lines but if the tires were not washed off after mowing a lawn with a fungus you can bring it over on your tires

Greenville SC 90° plus June into July. I have a neighbor across the street whose windows reflect the morning sun like a magnifying glass in certain spots in my front yard, and then noonday sun.. The heat is already there in the mornings until the evening… I develop grayish and yellow hotspots in my zoysia no matter if run my water system 3 mornings a week 10 mins it still stays the same until mid August.
